"Peace I Give To You"
But is it possible to have that inside of us? "No war?" Ephesians 2:14 tells us that "He Himself is our peace". Wow, our peace is not outside but buried deep within us. So, how do we tap into that river of peace?
A river flows because it's direction is on the right course. A river can't flow uphill and neither can it flow on level ground. It must have some declining foundation. Flowing in His direction is like being a branch connected to a vine. John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
A branch's life is effortless. It just stays connected to the vine and life flows into it. It's the same with us, being a branch connected to the vine, which is Jesus. And when we are connected, His life naturally flows into ours.
Staying connected might mean different things to different people, but with the Spirit of God living within every cell of our being, we find that He is touchable. We touch Him and He touches us in true fellowship through the Word of God, the creative instrument of all things. This enables us to enjoy and be overwhelmed with His great love, and that is what connection is really all about.
Make a point of letting that love flow toward you today. Be refreshed dear ones.
