Taking My Stand On Who God Says I Am!
Updated: Sep 20, 2020
What you hold in your mind determines how your spirit is able to ascend to dominance, or not; and it determines how your body responds to information, specifically from the word of God. And because of this, the imperative of Romans 12:2 is to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind”. If you're in Christ, your spirit is perfect, but your mind must be renewed for cooperation with your born again spirit.
Remember the words of Solomon in Proverbs 4:20-23
“My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart.
For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body.
Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.”
The promises of God are in the book, the Bible, provided for us that they might become that which would reside in our hearts. Reading them on pages of scripture lack the power they could have if they were in our hearts and on our lips, as verified by the words of Jesus:
“Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”
Speaking and making bold declarations of what God has spoken concerning us is not done because we have seen all these statements in our experience, but because they are spoken by God as Truth, which is 100% reliable, far above what you may or may not have previously known in your experience. Knowing Truth, not experience, is what makes us FREE. John 8:32
The following declarations of God’s Truth have the ability to change the way you think and the way you live. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Prov. 23:7. Only those statements of truth that you own will be authoritative and effective in your life.
I ask you to take the challenge and read them out loud, passionately, and daily over the next 30 days as personal declarations to you from the heart of God. Then watch the changes that will begin to occur inside of you and in your body as well.
“For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body”
"Taking My Stand On Who God Says I Am,"
Not based on Experience, But Based on His Infinite, All-Powerful Word
I am born of God. I live, and move, and have my being in Him. (1a)
I am strong in the strength of the Lord. (2a), (2b), (2c), (2d)
I am blessed with every blessing of God by being in Christ, and seated with Him in heavenly realms. (3a)
I am dead to sin and alive to God. I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me. (4a)
I am an overcomer. I overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of my testimony. Everything I face today has already been subjected unto me through the mighty name of Jesus Christ, in whom is all authority in heaven and on earth. (5a), (5b)
I am forgiven all my iniquities and healed of all my diseases. God has redeemed my life from destruction and crowned me with lovingkindness and tender mercies. He continually satisfies my years with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle. (6a)
I am light in the Lord, and darkness cannot overcome or withstand me because I have been delivered out of the authority of darkness and into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love. (7a), (7b)
In everything I am enriched in Christ and God always leads me in triumph, so that I always have all sufficiency for all things. (8a), (8b)
The law of the spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. The Spirit of Life in Christ gives life to my mortal body and flows in and through every cell of my being. I will lay down this mortal body only when I have finished my course and am satisfied with long life. (9a)
I overwhelmingly conquer in all things through Him who loves me. (10a)
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. I can do the works Jesus said I should do, for it is God which is in me, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. (11a), (11b)
The LORD, Jehovah is my shepherd; I have no lack. I want for nothing because He has given unto me all things that pertain to life and godliness through the true knowledge of His Son. (12a), (12b)
God promised that whatever things I ask of Him, He will do! So, when I make petitions of God, I take a stand to receive at that moment the thing I ask of Him, and God always grants me those things I seek from Him, based on the following words of Jesus. “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you have received them and they shall be granted unto you.” Mark 11:24. (13a)
I seek God’s word first to know His will before I ask.
I ask and I believe that I receive because He promised, not because of what I feel.
Since I believe that I have received, I rest in His promise and give God thanks as if I already had it. God always gives to believing ones in accord with His promise, just as He said He would.
My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me. I was bought with the price of pure and spotless blood. I am not my own, therefore as I submit my body to the Lord, He cares for it and ministers His love and blessing to it. Disease, sickness and pain are not blessings, therefore they are not permitted by Him, or I, to dwell in this temple of God. (14a), (14b)
Jesus bore my sins in His own body on the cross, therefore I am dead to sin and all its evil works, and I am alive unto God, and by His stripes I am healed and made whole. (15a)
I loose the blessings of God into my life, and I bind the forces of evil from my life. I do this with words. (16a)
I command demons and they obey me. I move mountains with my words because of the authority of God’s Word that lives in me. (17a)
I can do what Jesus did because He commissioned me to do so. I can heal the sick, cure the incurables, raise the dead and cast out demons through the unlimited authority of the name of Jesus on my lips. (18a), (18b)
Out of my belly flows rivers of living water. They wash, refresh, heal and restore all who get in their path. (19a)
Because the Holy Spirit is joined with my spirit, we are One Spirit in the Lord, therefore when I reach out my hand to heal, His hand is reaching out also with me, as the healer. We are one and we work together in unison. (20a)
Whenever I lay my hand on a sick person in the name and authority of my Lord Jesus, the sick person always recovers and has healing in their body. I know that is true because God promised it. (21a)
As a branch connected to The Vine, which is Jesus, I live from His life, therefore, as He is, so am I in this world. He is neither sick, sad, nor impotent; and neither am I. His fulness of life, health and strength lives abundantly in me and it permeates my entire being as it flows relentlessly within and through me. (22a)
The life of Christ lives and reigns as King in every organ, system, artery, vessel and cell of my being, and by my declaration of victory through His word, I am healed, I am whole, I am vibrant, free of sickness, disease and pain, and I'm living abundantly in Him by His Spirit who enlivens every part of my mortal body. (23a), (23b), (23c)
Everything in life works out to my good, because I am His and because I love and trust Him in all things. “No weapon formed against me will prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the LORD”. I am more than a servant. He calls me friend, and He has made me His very own son. (24a), (24b), (24c)
I am a soldier in the army of the Lord. My weapons are destructive to all the weapons of darkness. I tear down and destroy every weapon raised against me and every battle is mine for the taking. (25a)
I put aside all anxious attacks against me and I cast all my cares upon the Lord, making my requests known to Him with thanksgiving; and the peace of God continually stands guard over my heart and mind. (26a), (26b)
I allow the peace of Christ to rule in my heart with thanksgiving, and the word of Christ dwells richly within me that I might be conformed to His image, and that I may walk as He walked in dispensing life in abundance wherever I go. (27a), (27b), (27c)
